Kicking and Screaming

Things have been so hectic lately that I have not had the time to post anything. We have come through three seperate reviews in the last few months, so it has been a stressful time here at the office. We did excellent in all of the reviews. I thought that would relieve some stress, but it seems like things get more hectic by the day.

I had to take off work Monday for Ethan's surgery and that just made things worse. Trying to come back in and get caught up is just crazy. It seems the more I try to get done, the farther behind I get. One step forward and two steps back. I feel like I have to juggle home and work now more than in any other job I have ever had, and I am not real sure why. I would really like to take a vacation, but I do not have the time to make up a weeks worth of work. I never would get caught up. I try as much as possible not to take my work home with me, so I have been trying to get everything done at work here at the office. Which upsets more people than I can count. So I sit here typing for a few minutes instead of doing some research that desperately needs to be done and watch as my desk becomes mountains of paperwork. I will desperately need to have a few drinks this weekend and am praying that I do not have to be DD for anyone. If I do, you can guarantee Sunday morning coming down may not be so quiet and plesant. I will be kicking and screaming.

  • Fear not, my love, for I will see to it that you get tore at Roctoberfest on Saturday. It is a requirement for the party!

  • Vickie makes comments on everyone's blog except for mine.

Tina, if you need a ride somewhere I'll drive you, I don't feel like I have too much T-O-R-E in me for this weekend.

  • Thanks! I may take you up on that if Brinton decides to becomes the chief of Toreville.

  • I will drive if you're brave enough to ride with me. I have no sense of direction, poor night vision, and road rage. I usually kill everyone's buzz, so there's that. (Thanks, Daylan for this clever phrase).

I average a "wreck" every three months; wreck being defined as any damage greater than $300. I actually got flowers this week from the guys that do the body work on my car. I am their best customer.

    Takers?
