Reunion
Well, it's over. Another Labor Day has come and gone.
Every Labor Day brings about the Spencer reunion. The 2 day reunion sustains me enough for a whole year. I was told that I was condemned to a life sentence of always attending. I can't imagine missing even a minute of it, even though as I said earlier, by the end I am sustained for a full year. Each year we miss a few more faces and alot more home cookin', but this year was probably the worst. More stayed home this year for fear that there wouldn't be enough gas to get home or they couldn't afford to pay for the gas to drive down to ol' Clay City. Damn Bush.
On the other hand, Cory finally made it to his first reunion in many years. I think he had about has much fun as he expected. Maybe a little less. However, I know that Eileen was very glad to see him. There is probably a picture floatin' around somewhere. And Misty finally got to understand mine and Morgan's drunken mistake tradition, as well as "line dance" with the whole darn gang. Poor Misty. See what ya missed Cory?
Alchol, Rape and Fire...
At our little shindig Saturday night, Vickie asked me to blog something about her. She said she had been trying to get into Cory's, Brinton's and Rachel's for sometime now. Since, I have the most boring of the three I'll include her in mine (just to liven it up a bit). Eventful shindig. Lots of drunkeness. Have we ever strived for any less? Rachel, Vickie and me sitting around the table. Me getting raped by the mangina (oh wait, not raped... "it's only rape if you press charges") Brinton beyond drunk and T.R. spitting fire?
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Had I known that Misty would be forced to line dance with the family, I promise I would have stuck around.
Ok, maybe not, but I certainly would have considered it.
Eileen rocks!
